Unlike many traditional banks, we are free to acquire our structuring components from the best providers. We are not bound by internal providers. Particularly on the risk management side, this freedom to use competitive tendering very often allows us to provide the final client with a better product at a lower cost.
As an analogy, LFG functions in the same way car manufacturers do. It puts its component sub-contractors in competition to deliver best price-quality terms. If the components were manufactured internally, one often ends up with mediocre components at inflated prices.
